Held in conjunction with the Tour de Tugaloo. Drop your kids and ride!

Recommeded for kids 10 years of age and over.
Children under 18 years of age must have parents /guardian permission to participate. All activities are supervised. Bicycle and helmet required. Comfortable walking shoes recommended.

Check-in opens at Yonah Dam Park

Bike safety clinic and warm-up exercises

BIKE: Follow the leader from Yonah Dam Park to Tugaloo Bend Heritage Site on Yonah Dam Road. (2 miles appoximately - gentle terrain)
HIKE: Local botanist, Jim Sullivan will then lead the group on a nature hike on one of the trails. Along the way he will point out various natural flora and fauna native to the area. Questions are welcomed!
After the nature hike, the group will make s'mores around a camp fire and learn of the history of Tugaloo Bend -- Native American inhabitants and settlers from Kelly Vickers, a local historian.
2:00PM (approx.)
Bike back to Yonah Dam Park for lunch and entertainment.
